David E Sugar - Flea Market

'Flea Market' is the brilliant second single to be taken from David E. Sugar's debut album 'Memory Store'. It's a breezy slice of gorgeous acoustic electro pop that will further cement his growing reputation as one of the most exciting talents around right now.

Out now on iTunes:

Video directed by Thomas Knights [thomasknights.co.uk]

As you would expect it comes with a clutch of fantastic remixes from The Finger Prince, part of Australia's Bang Gang DJ posse, London based electronica outfit Eat More Cake, artist, DJ, producer and remixer Sharooz and up and coming producers Third Party.

The B side is 'Medicine', an upbeat, hypnotic track that will have you heading for the nearest dancefloor.

Having firmly established himself as one of the most promising talents on the UK underground in the last few years, this gifted singer, songwriter, producer is the latest signing to Rob da Bank's Sunday Best label.

With this new phase in his career David has also taken a fresh direction both on record and live with an album crammed full of electro tinged pop gems that are songs rather than tunes and developing his live show from one man and his laptop to performing as a three piece band that showcases the new material to great effect.

David was one of the pioneers of the Chip Music scene and has gone on to release songs on taste maker labels such as Kitsune and Joe Goddard from Hot Chip's Greco-Roman, which launched with the release of his single 'Oi New York, This Is London'. Last year David released a track a week digitally and an EP every month on his own label Obio, a massive creative undertaking. He has toured with Calvin Harris, Digitalism and Hadouken and is currently supporting hotly tipped newcomers Fenech-Soler on their UK tour.

With support now burgeoning from radio presenters such as Zane Lowe, Lauren Laverne, Jon Hillcock, Kissy Sellout, Eddie Temple-Morris, Joe Ransom and DJs such as Jesse Rose, Hot Chip, Tom Findlay (Groove Armada), Sinden and Hervé, it seems David E. Sugar is a man on the brink of stardom.
